Short-session GM-less tabletop fantasy 1v1 combat RPG

Quite a mouthful, but is this game for you?

Knight vs Dragon is for two people who want to play a fantasy RPG but do not have the time for a long, drawn out campaign.

Each turn starts by both players rolling a lot of dice and telling a story from the outcome. This allows both players to enjoy role playing without one of them taking on the Game Master role and controlling the game.

The amount of rules to learn and remember is less than a typical RPG because each play session is focused on a single hero versus monster battle. New and more complex rules for both hero and monster are introduced through the Skill System.

This game is intended to be balanced to offer competitive play; however more importantly, it is designed to develop a love for RPGs in new players. So as in many fantasy stories, although the hero is pitted against danger at every turn, they should be given every chance to win.

A typical play session lasts about 1-2 hours.

Learn how it all got started.
